Home to Engineering at Sheffield and completed in 2015, The Diamond Building is one of the University’s largest ever investments in learning and teaching. With 19 different specialist laboratories and workshops, housing state of the art equipment, The Diamond hosts over 6000 students each year.
The building also contains the first industrial scale Pilot Plant at a UK university, used by our chemical engineering students during their studies.
The conference will be located across three floors, and whilst the conference pass includes refreshments and a two course buffet lunch each day, The Diamond Kitchen located in the atrium will also be open.
Use our Interactive Campus Map, and view maps showing Food and Drink Outlets, Baby Changing Facilities, Prayer Rooms, Quiet Spaces, and Gender Neutral Toilets.
You can also download the campus map to your phone or pc, or pick up a printed version from the Conference Information Desk.
Male and Female Prayer Rooms are located on Level 1 of The Diamond, with Wudu facilities nearby. Please ask staff for more information and guidance.
You can also find other facilities on campus using the Prayer Rooms map, and nearby mosques via Sheffield Muslim Chaplaincy.
At The University of Sheffield we are committed to making our events as welcoming and inclusive for as many people as possible.
