1st Round Review outcomes will be communicated from 25 November 2025
All abstract submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee. Selected submissions from the 1st Round of reviews, will be invited to submit an Extended Abstract (2 pages) or a Conference Paper (5-8 pages) to the 2nd Round. From these, oral and poster presentations will be allocated to accepted applicants.
Accepted Conference Papers will be published by PSE Press in a special volume of Systems & Control Transactions, titled 'Proceedings of the 36th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE 36)'.
Accepted Extended Abstracts will be published digitally with a unique ISBN number by Conference Organisers via the conference and the University of Sheffield websites.
There will also be a number of Special Issue publications.
More information on 2nd Round submissions will be shared with selected applicants after the 1st Round is complete.
Presenters will have 15 minutes to speak, with an additional 5 minutes allocated for Q&A. Oral presentations will be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, grouped into thematic sessions. We cannot guarantee that requests to present on specific days will be accommodated. There is a limited number of oral presentations available and if unsuccessful, you may be offered the opportunity to alternatively present a Scientific Poster.
Posters can be A1 (portrait or landscape) or A0 (portrait only), can be paper, plastic or fabric, and will be assessed by members of the Scientific Committee during the dedicated Poster Presentation sessions. Poster Presentations will take place across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with each presenter allocated a time on one of these days only. We cannot guarantee that requests to present on specific days will be accommodated.
